THE NEXT OPEN CELLARS WEEKEND IS WINTER 2019

THE WEEKEND OF 15TH AND 16TH JUNE 2019

We invite you to join our Winter Open Cellars Weekend  and visit the friendly family-owned wineries of the Nillumbik Winemakers of the Nillumbik Shire, for a June weekend of great wine, great food and live music!

The wineries are nestled among the green rolling Artisan Hills in this pretty part of the world, among country Australian hamlets with typical Aussie names like Kangaroo Ground, Smiths Gully, Arthurs Creek, St. Andrews, Yarrambat and Watsons Creek – the place oozes with history and charm. To get to the Artisan Hills region (only 45 minutes from the CBD or the Melbourne airport) head north of Melbourne, heading to Eltham or Greensborough – from there just follow the map (above).

You can make a weekend of it and stay at one of the cosy BnB’s found on the Artisan Hills website. How about starting out on Saturday morning with a visit to the famous St Andrews country market? Then design your own wine trail, and progress from winery to winery, making sure to enjoy the views and some tasty country fare for lunch at the wineries.

Pencil the date in your diary now, for the Winter Open Cellars Weekend  –  Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June 2019
